Is it time to get out of the classroom for some good ole' fashioned fun and a day of learning and sunshine on the farm? If so, you'll love a visit to 4D! Here are a few things you will do and see while on the farm:
-
Hop on a hayride to our pumpkin patch and Read "Spookley the Square Pumpkin." This story has an anti-bullying message.
-
Self guided learning station for pumpkins and corn.
-
Visit our cute and friendly farm animals. We have alpacas, donkeys, ponies, goats, sheep, and bunnies! Most animals have displays that offer educational facts about the animal.
-
Learn a little about poultry farming while you enjoy our animatronic chicken show. This is located up from the swing ride beside the blue bathrooms.
-
Many learning opportunities are self guided and available around the farm. You may explore at your own pace.
-
Each student will receive a pie pumpkin to take home. Parent's do not receive a pumpkin.
-
We no longer offer the tubing slide on field trips. This is for safety reasons. Students will also be limited to one zip on our zipline.
BRAND NEW ATTRACTION FOR THE LITTLE PIGLETS (those under 100lbs).

TEACHER Q & A
We are very busy on the farm getting ready for all your sweet students. Please read this page and only email us if you have additional questions not listed here.
Can I get a lunch schedule in advance? Unfortunately we do not send out lunch schedules prior to trips. We will give you lunch schedules the morning of arrival and have it posted for parents.
Where will I meet parents? We designate each school a meeting location. We will have this posted by lunch schedules.
Can I get an invoice in advance? Yes, we can send you an invoice if needed. Some schools just figure total and bring a check, we send back a paid receipt. This is so much easier for us. If you do need an invoice emailed, please wait until you are certain on the number of students. We have some schools that request 4-5 different invoices and this makes its impossible to work to prepare for your arrival. If you do need an invoice sent, please email this request to info@4dfamilyfarm.com with Invoice Request and School in the subject line. Please provide us with this information in the email:
school name, school address, email the invoice should be sent, number of students, number of additional staff above the free admissions included in field trip, and date of the field trip.
Can I pick up armbands prior to field trip? Yes, please text 256-708-5353 with the info: Armband Pick-up, School, Student Number, Teacher Number. Please text this at least three days prior to pickup.
How much is field trip? That would depend on the selection you made when filling out the reservation form. It was stated there and pricing for pumpkin picking is listed above in the information given prior to field trip reservation.
Can my students purchase food at the farm? Food locations get busy. We recommend students bring a sack lunch and let parents purchase at food locations.
When do you start booking field trips? August 1st
Please read all top information and the information that was provided on reservation form. Thank you and we look forward to having you!
